The key to successful investing is to develop a tailored strategy designed to meet both short and long-term goals. I work diligently to meet the needs of the individual investor, families and business owners using strategies I have developed in my nearly 10 years as a financial advisor and informed by my 30 years in the financial industry.  Whether you need to save for a child’s education, review tax planning strategies, offer a retirement plan for you and your employees, wealth management and preservation strategies, business succession or retirement planning - I can help. Financial planning through a consultative and collaborative process is the mainstay of my business. Whether you are serious about investing or a serious investor – my door is open.

My wife, Candace, and I are both from the Bangor area, and we settled in Windham back in the early 1990s, raising our children there.  Our daughter, Kristen, and son, Greg, recently graduated from the University of Maine, representing  the fourth generation of my family to attend UMaine, along with their two cousins, Connor and Joe.  I also studied at UMaine and the University of Southern Maine and earned a BS in Economics.  The Morrison family was recently honored with the UMaine Folger Legacy award honoring our “commitment to excellence, education, public service, professional accomplishments, military contributions, and numerous volunteer roles embraced by each successive generation.”

Volunteering and giving back to the community is important. Currently, I am serving my second term as a Town Councilor for Windham, with two years as Council Chair. The Council’s primary responsibility is to work with the Town Manager on the annual budget and strategic planning. I am a recent Past President of the Sebago Lake Rotary Club (Rotarian of the year 2017-2018) and was honored as a Paul Harris Fellow in 2023, which is Rotary’s highest honor. I am a member of the Sebago Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce, Trustee for the Windham Veterans Charitable Trust, and a volunteer with the Salvation Army.

As the son of two teachers, education is a priority and it is why I am also a volunteer instructor with many local adult education programs – teaching seminars and courses related to budgeting, personal and business finance, health care, retirement plans, social security, estate considerations, business succession planning and employer retirement plans (Simple, SEP, 401ks) and IRAs.

Please feel free to contact my office so we may find a time to get together and discuss what’s most important to you. First, we take the time to understand where you are today, so we may work towards where you want to go. Then we work on strategies targeting the future you want and deserve. We set reasonable goals and monitor results to keep you on track with your plan. With life’s ebbs and flows, we adjust accordingly because we stay close and are hands on. Let’s find a time that works with your schedule to determine if my time-tested approach to sensible investing and financial planning aligns with your needs and expectations.
